Who am I?

I have always been interested in languages and other countries' culture and habits. After my studies (interpretor and translator), I lived in France and Italy for 7 years. 12 years ago, I came back to Germany and made my first experiences with project work in social projects in Hildesheim. In 1998, I started to work with BUPNET in Göttingen. Ever since, I have been working in national and European training projects in the social and healthcare sector. Through these projects, I have learnt a lot about environmental management, intercultural training, ICT, communication and blended learning applications. Moreover, I appreciate very much the European exchange and meetings in European projects. This is a very good opportunity to get to know to other people and their work environment. There is a big difference between going to some European place in the framework of a meeting or going on your own as a tourist. You get very interesting insights that you would never get as a tourist.
Our most recent European projects are: ACT! (www.act-eu.org) - assessment of active citizenship training; ABCD (www.abcd-eu.org) - advanced blended learning competencies and didactics and Background (www.background-eu.org) - development of a training course on domestic violence and ComNet (http://networksineducation.eu) - competences for networking in adult education.
